Our Mission

The Platte River SCI mission is to protect the freedom to hunt and promote wildlife conservation in Nebraska.

Our Purpose

The Platte River Chapter of SCI was formed in 2020 as an affiliate of SCI International. Our chapter has grown to over 330 members dedicated to supporting our mission. The support of our members helps our organization shape a positive public image of ethical hunting practices. Platte River SCI offers programs and events throughout Nebraska to support our objectives and provide opportunities for fellowship with other hunters.

Our Objectives

Protecting the Rights of Hunters

Together, we advocate, preserve and protect the rights of all hunters within the limits of law and regulation.

Promoting Legal and Ethical Hunting

Our chapter and its members promote safe, legal and ethical hunting and hunting related activities.

Positive Public Education

As a chapter affiliate of SCI International, we partner with organizations and industry professionals to inform and educate the public on hunting and related activities.

Our Board of Directors

We are governed by a volunteer board of directors dedicated to living our chapter's mission by raising funds to support and portray a positive image of the hunting industry.
